MAFP Conference in Mackinac Island
I my Family Medicine family! We had another great Michigan Academy of Family Physicians conference in Mackinac Island. Hundreds of Fam Med doctors from across Michigan came together to connect with other family physicians, learn more about up and coming medical care, and strengthen our skills as family physicians, resources, and assets in our Michigan communities.
This weekend has been rejuvenating and inspiring. I’m excited about the Family Medicine specialty and how we are impacting our patients and building healthier communities. Being a doctor is a career of lifelong learning and a career of an empowering privilege to be trusted to play essential roles in so many lives.
I love being a Family Medicine Physician! It’s the best specialty to diversely care for the whole person and entire family. It also helps build a great foundation in for advocacy work through public health, health policy, and population health.
