PSA: Rite Aids across Michigan are going to be closing.
As a family doctor I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get your prescriptions transferred to a new pharmacy BEFORE the hot mess transition.
They plan to send your prescriptions to Walgreens which will overwhelm Walgreens.
I recommend you be proactive and tell your doctors to send prescriptions to the most convenient place for you so you can prevent medication delays.
Also please consider local pharmacies. They are really amazing. You often can advocate more for yourself and get personalized care.
