2024 Youth Health Summit
Today was an amazing day for the 2nd Mindful and Motivated Youth Health Summit!
We had a great time learning CPR, Stop the Bleed, other first aid skills, and about safe medications.
Exploring health and medicine is fun and interesting. Supporting the next generation of health professionals feels great!

Thank you to our volunteers like Dr Bobby, MSU College of Human Medicine Flint Campus, Employment Networking Solutions, and many others who spent time this weekend supporting the interests and curiously the teens had for health and medicine.
Looking forward to next week's session of the summit that will focus on anatomy and surgery with a hands on laparoscopic surgery simulation.

Exploring careers in health hands on activities is so much fun!
Students got to practice laparoscopic surgery skills, fine motor skills, surgical knot tying, patient scenarios, and even see how different organs felt.
