U of MINNESOTA Talk

This week I had the pleasure of speaking at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities to undergraduate students about my pathway, social determinants of health, and health equity. It was great to share my experiences and some of the gaps disparities in the health system that we are trying to address daily.

These students are innovators and creators and my talks hopefully helped them realize that pivoting is not a bad thing and that we can not let great ideas be stuck in publications for our communities to not implement.

I am thankful for the invitation to speak to the students and glad that I had the opportunity to give them a different perspective as they pursue careers in health.
