About Dr Harris

Dr Aisha Harris was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. In 2020, she returned home to Flint to continue practicing medicine.

Dr Harris started the health outreach platform BLK FAM DOC that utilizes various ways to share health information include a podcast called Black Family Doctor available on Spotify and Apple.

Additionally, she created the Flint Health Hub that shares local health resources as well as a weekly e-newsletter of local health related news and health highlights.

About Harris Family Health

Harris Family Health was started because Dr Harris wanted more opportunities to provide quality care for her patients without the barriers and limitations of traditional medicine and insurance. She was motivated to continue to build strong relationships with her patients and genuinely focus on improving health outcomes and access to quality care.

Dr Harris started Harris Family Health with the hope that bringing direct primary care to Flint would open up better opportunities for patients and and be a positive primary care resource for the Flint community.
